Arrived in Santiago

Well, we made it.   Flights, although long, worked out fine.  Onły thing that really sucked was Bogota, Colombia.   We had almost 8 hours there and totally looked forward to checking out the city, but once again... Canada becomes the problem.   Just like Chilenos and Argentinians, it seems Canada also charges Colombians an excesssive tourist visa fee, so Colombia has a recipriosity fee for us.   Would have cost us $80 each to leave the airport.  ALL other countries except Canada dont do this...yes, ALL.  So we spent 8 extra hours in a terminal because of this.   $160 is just too much for 8 hours.  

   My Spanish seems slow and sucky.   Worse than last time and it should be better!   Oh well, smile, wave, point-  That works too.   Was nice to get some sleep in a bed.   Woke up early and went to see if i could colllect my Chilean Tax ID I had applied for last year,  but apparenltly it had been to long waiting for pickup at the office.  Going to walk around the city for a bit soon I think.
